1988 Glass museum Kingswinford bought a piece from Rebecca’s degree show, and exhibited it with her great-great grandfather’s engraved glass which is in the collections. His name was Franz Joseph Hanke and he was invited to bring copper wheel engraving to England from Bohemia.
1986-88 Worked in glass studios in Stourbridge as an assistant and as part of a team: Red house cone, Royal Brierley, Brecon & Bath.
1985-88 BA hons Design at Stoke, North Staffordshire Polytechnic. Degree show was of blown and flat glass forms with symbolic animal imagery drawn in textured enamel created with a resist.
