DNA Seedlings and Taxus were commissioned for private home in Cambridge. Taxus is inspired by yew trees in the ancient gardens where the sculptures were located; Taxus or Yew is notable as having cancer fighting properties, relevant especially as the owners have a medical career. DNA Seedlings follow on from the Seedling sculptures commissioned for the Charles Rennie Mackintosh museum in Northampton and spiral like helical chains of DNA molecules.
