The sculpture forms part of a body of work that combines symmetry, balance and volume into totem like sculptures, stacked like a string of beads, referencing gravity and other waves that pass around our world, drawing invisible paths that vibrate and disturb space. Rise 1 rotates in strong wind and has bearings within the structure
