Vortex is suspended in the atrium of the STEAM hub at Talbot Heath School; it references a watery whirlpool and is about climate change. The location looks out across a roof of solar panels. The sculpture spirals in the space and is constructed from steel structural mesh, clamped onto steel ropes and covered in glass painted in watery blues and greens.
